Zara Sharma: “Debating with Speech and Debate India has been an enriching experience. Speech and Debate has taught me to not be afraid of bringing my perspective into the mix and question “why the world is the way it is”. All of which are critical to being an IB Learner. My debating journey began in January 2020, which soon switched to online sessions. Nevertheless, they were able to keep classes fun and engaging through unique debate topics. I am so happy to say my team and I successfully progressed throughout the competitions to the nationals. I was able to place as the 4th Middle School Debater in India!”
