The two budding authors of École Mondiale World School, Sadhika Raj (Grade 8) and Manjari Sharma (Grade 10) were felicitated during an MYP Assembly held on Wednesday, 22nd May where they shared their experiences and motivated and inspired other fellow students to develop their writing skills. They were felicitated by the Head of Secondary, Mr. Nick Taggart, who gave the authors a small plant as a token of appreciation.
Sadhika’s book is a story set in the Holocaust. During her journey on writing the book, Sadhika was inspired by some of her peers in class, who also read a paragraph from the book and shared their experiences. She has truly grown as a person and demonstrated a different side of her personality.
Manjari wrote a book titled " The Sun Also Rises in Pakistan" Her journey on writing the book began with her Personal Project requirement of Grade 10. She chose a unique subject and a topic which surely creates controversies in our country. However, she took up the challenge and presented her thoughts beautifully through her book.
