At our Friday assembly, a group of Grade 5 students took the lead to explain the process for the upcoming PYP House Elections and appealed to everyone to exercise their “right to vote”.
Campaigning starts on Monday, 26 August 2019. During the weekend, we anticipate most of our Grade 5 will be busy creating posters using their persuasive writing and visual art skills.
Ms. Maree, in her interactive session with Grade 5, highlighted leadership skills and responsibilities.
The big day is on Friday 30 August 2019. Candidates will be invited to give a speech and answer questions put forward by their respective house members. This will be followed by all students casting votes using the secret ballot method.
