DP Theatre Production

IB Diploma Programme theatre course is a multifaceted theatre-making course of study

Romeo and Juliet is the first play I have directed, and even though I have nothing to compare with, I can definitely say that the experience has been one that I will never forget. What made it so special is the vibrant personalities of each of the actors in the cast- each personality was different, but they complimented each other perfectly. What we tried to achieve during this play was to take the actors out of their comfort zone without dropping them in a place they were completely unfamiliar with. I think this was one of the main motivations for myself and the other actors to always push ourselves into doing better.
