'Tanhaji' movie for C2D

'Compete to Defeat' team is a service initiative led by grade 11 students to support, create awareness and raise funds for marginalized children who are fighting cancer at St. Jude's hospital in Mumbai. Towards this end, students plan various activities throughout the year to raise funds for their cause. A part of this initiative was the screening of the movie 'Tanhaji' on the 10th of January, 2020 at the PVR Theatre in Juhu.
An exclusive screening for the École community, it was an evening of relaxation and bonding for the students and teachers. Students and parents from the PYP and MYP supported the cause with enthusiasm and all 120 tickets that were procured for the show were sold out. The students also got a chance to meet and greet the movie's actor- Kajol Devgan who complimented them for supporting a worthy cause.
