On Thursday the 5th of October, we, grade 8, decided to make a change in the amount of pollution in Juhu beach. Upon arrival, we saw a massive amount of plastic and other forms of waste that could be recycled and then re-used. We decided to reduce the amount of plastic in the beach and sectioned areas by the type of waste. We made groups to clear certain areas and made sure that all materials collected were recyclable and that nothing would go to waste. After a long time of cleaning up, we had finished our labour and realised the amount of hard work that is needed if we want to clean up the whole beach.
