Once again, École Mondiale World School played host to the prestigious regional round of the World Scholar’s Cup in Mumbai. This event, now in its 5th consecutive year at École, saw participation from approximately 200 students across various schools.
This year’s theme, “Reconstructing the Past,” has intrigued young minds and inspired them to delve into the annals of history.
Écolites, buoyed by the support of senior WSC participants, eagerly took part in the four main events: Team Debate, Collaborative Writing, Scholar’s Challenge, and Scholar’s Bowl. These events not only tested their knowledge but also their ability to think critically, collaborate, and communicate effectively. The competitive spirit was palpable as they vied for a spot in the prestigious Global Round. The locations for the Global Round in 2024 include Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Stockholm, Bangkok, and Auckland.
As École Mondiale World School continues to nurture and support the academic pursuits of its students, it remains committed to providing them with opportunities that extend beyond the confines of the classroom. The World Scholar’s Cup is just one example of how the school encourages its students to think critically, challenge themselves, and explore the world around them.
