Candidate Attributes
Candidate attributes at École Mondiale World School will:
- Support and promote the mission and vision of the school and the IB.
- Role model the attributes of the IB Learner profile.
- Actively promote excellence in the classroom and create an environment where active, individual learning in an inquiry based framework is the norm.
- Meet high professional expectations in the area of curriculum design and delivery.
- Prepare, plan, deliver and reflect on units for teaching across the appropriate IB programmes.
- Contributes to the development of the school curriculum through collaborative planning.
- Promote and support the development of the whole child, including social and emotional development.
- Monitor and assess the academic and pastoral progress of a student in accordance with the school's mission, vision and assessment policies.
- Actively promote supportive teacher-student relationships.
- Support all school policies and procedures including academic and procedural matters e.g. school attendance.
- Undertake professional development in order to grow as a professional.
- Promote, lead and support events in the school extra-curricular programme.
- Communicate regularly with those they report to within the school, as well as parents and other stakeholders.
- Promote excellent parent/school relationships through appropriate communication channels.
- Builds positive supportive collegial relationships with all members of staff.
- Remains professional and ethical at all times
