Grade 6 - Design

Event Information

Grade 6 students of Product Design began to explore the possibilities of creating their ideas using timber. Students were shown the start and set up of their workshop process.  The use of a wood bench block, Tenon saw, table vice and G clamps were demonstrated. Students then prepared to measure, mark and cut lap joints. These are the initial skills that are then further developed over the years.
