Dear Delegates and Teachers,

With great pleasure, I would like to welcome you to EMUN 2006 – 2007, the second annual Model United Nations conference held by Ecole Mondiale World School.

The world does not have a shortage of problems. At one corner, the North Korean Nuclear Crisis looms, while at the other corner, there is flourishing drug trade. At EMUN, we hope to make the our next generation of leaders aware of these problems, keeping in mind the amount of nationalities involved, and the sensitivities of so many groups at stake. This year, the maxim of EMUN is “Different People. Different Views. One Goal. Emancipate.” And this is truly the essence of EMUN – to come to a resolution after passing every obstacle.

I hope to see a fantastic round of MUNning from all delegates. All The Best.
