The High School is Grades 11-12. During these years, students prepare themselves for their entrance into the world of further education and future career opportunities. The emphasis during these years is on academic development and preparation for examinations that provide entrance to universities world-wide. The social skills that were nurtured in the Primary and Middle Schools are further enhanced to ensure healthy relationships. Understanding and cooperation is fostered among different groups and individuals to give the students a smooth entry into further education and personal growth opportunities. The High School also works to encourage a sense of community spirit, a willingness to be involved in and supportive of the local community and a determination to contribute in making the world a better place.

All students take IB Diploma Programme courses. These are demanding pre-university courses for highly motivated students usually aged from 16 to 18 years that equip students with the skills and attitudes necessary for success in higher education leading to employment. Recognizing the width and depth of the IB Diploma course, the best universities reach out for IB Diploma graduates. Not only that, they grant admission concessions in recognition of the students' readiness for university courses.

What does the Diploma Course consist of?
The Curriculum is structured into six subject groups. They are

Students are required to take six subjects, including one from each of the first five groups. A sixth subject may be from group 6, The Arts, or maybe another language, humanities, or science. Three, but no more than four, may be studied at Higher Level, the remainder being at Standard Level.

Other Core Requirements

There are three core requirements that make the IB Diploma different - the Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge and CAS (Creativity, Action, Service). These components add to the breadth and depth already in the subjects listed above.

High School students are not only encouraged to excel in their chosen subject areas and to cope with the rigour of high level study but they also involve themselves in activities which help them to develop their own creativity, sporting and action oriented skills and their sense of responsibility for supporting the wider community. They become aware of their potential, individually in their own lives and within their community and the world. Here they learn that they can truly make a difference.
