This centre will provide qualified educators the opportunity to participate in the University of Bath’s MA in Education programmes and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Teacher Award.
�cole Mondiale World School in conjunction with the University of Bath, UK had initiated an Education Programme in the spring of 2009 to provide teachers an opportunity to acquire a MA degree in Education from the University of Bath. It is very heartening to say that the programme has met with great success ever since.
The MA in Education courses aim to develop teachers understanding of the principles and practices associated with each of the three IB programmes. Another feature of this programme is that it provides IB teachers the opportunity to acquire the IB Teachers Award* the details of which are mentioned in the brochure.
The programme has successfully completed six units. The seventh unit; Leading and Managing Schools and Colleges will be held from the 17th to the 20th of March 2012. The unit aims at providing an overview of the key concepts and issues connected with managing educational organizations in diverse contexts, to explore selected areas of management practices and to foster critical reflection on the effectiveness of management practices.
